- Starting pay $61,585.61 with experience pay up to $69,275.44
- $55 per hour special duty detail rate
- Take home patrol vehicle at no cost if residing in Indian River County, St. Lucie County, or within 25 air miles from the north and west Indian River County lines
- 96 vacation hours and 96 sick hours accrued annually, with additional compounding vacation hours annually for continued years of service
- Tuition reimbursement options up to 75%
- 12 hour alternating shifts which result in 84 hour pay periods
