Eyes in the Sky

Our Aviation Unit is a full-time unit that patrols the county with the use of multiple helicopters. Our helicopters utilize a FLIR infrared camera system combined with a mapping software that allows for real-time map overlays of the camera view to give accurate mapping and address locations while operating the camera. The camera system also has the ability to lock-on to moving objects and track them autonomously. Night vision given to our pilots allows them to fly all hours of the day.
