Investigations

Our Corrections Investigations Unit specializes in investigating crimes that occur within the Indian River County Jail. These crimes can often be difficult to investigate, therefore our corrections detectives must maintain a working relationship with the inmates at the jail as well as law enforcement detectives. Often enough, crimes that occur within the jail can include those who are not in the jail such as introduction of contraband, jail escape plans and attempts, and witness or victim intimidation.
